Sweet Istria is an event celebrating its second anniversary in September. You can experience the varied offer of sweets at sweet stalls along "sweet paths" on the streets of Koper and squares in the old city centre. Here you can sample and buy numerous sweets, sweet drinks and other sweet products from Slovenian Istria, other Slovenian regions and abroad. Parallel with the sale at stalls, "sweet culinary workshops" for children and adults, expert guided tours of the stalls and lectures will take place. We have also prepared the competition for the most original Istrian sweet, the best sweet muscat wine, the best cake of Sweet Istria 2010 and many parallel cultural activities. One of these is the painting event 'Ex-tempore Sweet Istria'. This is undoubtedly the biggest "sweet" event in Slovenia.
